What House Tabs is

House Tabs is a personal home records app that helps homeowners track appliances, maintenance schedules, contacts, and other details about their home. It is provided free of charge during its current early-access period.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. House Tabs is intended for personal, non-commercial use — one account per household, for a single home. Use for rental management, commercial property, or resale purposes is not permitted at this time.

Your account

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address — no password is stored. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Your content

Everything you add to House Tabs — item records, photos, notes, contacts — belongs to you. You grant House Tabs a limited license to store and display that content solely to provide you the service. We do not use your home data to train AI models, sell to third parties, or share it with anyone without your explicit consent.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or contains sensitive personal information about other people without their consent.

Maintenance information

Maintenance schedules and suggested cadences in House Tabs are general guidelines based on common homeownership practice. They are informational only and do not constitute professional advice. Always consult a qualified contractor or technician for specific guidance about your home's systems.

Service availability

House Tabs is provided as-is during its early development phase. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free. We are not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from service interruptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before they take effect. Continued use of House Tabs after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
